Well, Murky Depths isn't 100% horror, but the percentage of stories are inclined that way, and those that don't are a blend of other genres, notably science fiction. We're about to unleash Issue #5 onto the world (beginning of August all being well), but Issue #4 is still selling well (in fact all the anthologies are still receiving orders via the website. Issue #6 (December) will be featuring Lavie Tidhar's first comic strip, drawn by Thomas Tuke - which is probably more blood and guts than horror - with the innocuous title "Xmas Love Story". Gary Charles' review at Whispers Of Wickedness says: "This quarterly anthology is something very special indeed and is going to cause some long running fiction magazines to start sweating in fear. What I love most about this publication is the way it embraces storytelling in all its forms, an eclectic collection of styles, genres and presentation sealed inside one of the most professional packages I have had the pleasure to hold in my hands." Who am I to disagree with him?

i quite enjoyed the first couple of issues but did feel that the stories for the 'comic' part weren't all that strong. the short fiction was decent enough and the art work in some of the stories was amazing.
