This is probably my most pointless ask ever, but if anybody out there has any info on Murder And Sudden Death by John C. Woodiwiss & Not At Night supremo Christine Campbell Thomson (Quality Press, 1939) could they please enlighten me as to whether it's a factual study, novel or collection of short stories? I've seen a copy of one of Woodiwiss's solo efforts, Mad Or Bad? (Quality Press, 1950), a series of essays about Spring Heeled Jack, the London Monster and other colourful criminals, so if the CCT-assisted volume is more of the same its bound to be an interesting read.

...could they please enlighten me as to whether it's a factual study, novel or collection of short stories? It's "Dramatic reconstructions of well-known crimes of history" apparently. "Twelve fascinating crimes of history. Includes William Rufus, assassination of Spencer Percival; William Whitely - shot at his London store; Thomas Thynne; Oliver Cromwell etc." 248 pages with 11 full page black & white illustrations. There are a couple of copies on Abebooks going for about 15 quid.
