Let the scrounging recommence! If anybody can help, I'm still missing contents listings/ cover scans of Donald Speed's My Blood Ran Cold, Giles Gordon's A Book Of Contemporary Nightmares, Richard Davis's first Spectre collection .... probably quite a number of others, but that's three to be getting on with!

My Blood Ran Cold, Corgi Books, 1966, edited by Donald Speed
Foreword by Donald Speed Promise Me Tonight by Michael Baldwin The Crack by Francis King Incubus For Hire by John Burke Not Enough Poison The Bird by Thomas Burke The Continual Dew by Richard Nettell Father And Son by Jesse Bier A Time For Living by Stan Gooch The Lake by Patrick Boyle Such Stuff by John Brunner Plague At Bergamo by Jens Peter Jacobsen Quittance by Martin Ford The Medusa Touch by Hugh Atkinson The Gates by Richard Kenneggy On With The New by Leonard Ansell The Holman Candidate by Simon Gray
This is a nifty anthology. The Stan Gooch story is much my favourite; one of those stories that has continued to haunt me down the years. I would send a scan of the cover if only I could fathom the mysteries of Photobucket. I found this book in a privately-run second-hand shop with about 20 other macabre paperbacks that came to form the core of my collection. A once-in-a-lifetime gig, I suppose.

Thanks ever so, Peter (and Charles, who provided the contents for A Book Of Contemporary Nightmares). somewhere I've a decent scan of the My Blood Runs Cold cover so I'll try and root that out tomorrow.
