A selection of stories filmed for the tv-series. The Mathesson stories are all very good and very different in mood and setting. The Beaumont material is also memorable. The cover is boring.

For me, this selection makes for a far superior Twilight Zone: The Movie tie-in than the actual Twilight Zone: The Movie tie-in. Was Beaumont's The Beautiful People adapted for the TV series?

For me, this selection makes for a far superior Twilight Zone: The Movie tie-in than the actual Twilight Zone: The Movie tie-in. Was Beaumont's The Beautiful People adapted for the TV series? Yes. Number 12 Looks Just Like You is based on Beaumonts story, but the adaption is written by John Tomerlin. I thought I had read it, but I just realized that I confused it with Beaumont's The New People.
