A childrens writer Ruth Ainsworth was also a scriptwriter for Listen with Mother, a popular BBC children's programme. I noticed her name occasionally pops up in anthologies mentioned on here. I still have this book. Most of the stories are kind of sad, especially my favorite "Cherry Ripe."
