Following on from CELTIC WEIRD, I do a bit more of a dive into Scottish stories, some more Gaelic translations and another appearance from Dorothy K. Haynes, cos I love her. This is a draft cover - and contents as and when I'm allowed.

Cheers Hel - yeah, been a cracker of a book to work on.
As to health, not been good - this was yesterday, rushed in with heartbeat of 220bpm, was given medication that made me flatline twice to try and get the heart to behave itself. The drug's main side effect (aside from stopping your heart) is "a sense of impending doom".

Sorry to hear that update, Johnny. May healing prevail! I feel obliged to make the obvious comment that a sense of impending doom might prove fruitful for future story ideas. Myself, I get that creeping sensation whenever I ponder the current political news stories both from my own nation and yours.

I suspect that having your heart stopped might have been the source of the "our next stop is the end of the line, where we terminate this service" effect. I've encountered folk who experienced it during non-drug-induced asystole.
