Robert Weinberg - The Black Lodge (Pocket Books, 1991, 275 Seiten) Cover by David Fishman
Robert Weinberg did a few Pulp horror novels in the late 80s/ early 90s, back in the era of normal sized paperbacks. This is the first novel of occult detective Sid Taine who later mostly resurfaced in some short stories. When Weinberg shortly worked for Marvel Comics in 2000/2001, writing stuff like Cable, he re-imagined Taine as a female occult P.I. for a mini-series with so-so art. Apparently Nightside as it was called was no big success and the character was never used again so far.

Interesting. It could be fun, or a rather dull slog.
Thanks for the scan!
