Shaun Hutson - Victims (W. H. Allen, 1987, Hardcover, this edition Star Books, 1988, 288 pages)
By now Hutson had established himself as a brand name. This novel is dedicated to the members of Iron Maiden at the time of their album Somewhere in Time (which is not regarded as their best work). In the acknowledgments Liverpool F. C. and Queensrÿche gets a thank you. Not exactly something you would find in Stephen King or Peter Straub at the time.

There are 16 Shaun Hutson books available on my ebook site, and all seem to be published by Caffeine Nights Press, including his most famous book Slugs. There is an audio book too of Progeny.
