Brave and stupid men (with the occasional woman to add a civilised touch to the proceedings), journey to the Earth's four imagined corners, fighting through swamp, over mountain, hacking through jungle, facing icy wastes, and dangerous natives, like the Nosha tribe. Their goal? To find and bag the rarest creatures on the planet, so making them even more rarer in the process. Because this is how men reason. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oozlum_birdOooh Er Missus! Sometimes however, these safaris go wrong, and the critter whose head they want to hang on a wall has other plans, and fights back. Please list tales of safaris and adventure, with a horror element. Thank you.

Like Shrink Proof's yesterday this photo disappeared on first upload. But this is explainable as the Oozlum bird tends to vanish up its own - Ooh Matron I cant say that!

Thank you. Obviously that's me wearing the glasses (amazingly, without a book) but who are the others, I wonder? The lady next to me is obviously too old to be the Prin - I mean, Annastacia. Let's focus on naming the two gentlemen....

Most likely an example or two among this lot; Carry on Up the JungleThere was a late 'thirties pulp devoted entirely to Jungle Stories

Let's focus on naming the two gentlemen.... I've worked out how to do this fairly. So as not to seem that we are picking favourites. There are 946 members (of which 99% are men) on this site, so pick two members between 1 and 946 and these will get to be these two fine men! No pressure here.
