Do you have some more info? Could only find some compilations by Longhorn at Amazon, but no magazine. Log on to any of the websites of Amazon (World Domination) Inc., then search "Supernatural Tales 43". Only seems to be available as a Kindle ebook though. Good luck.

I think I'm right in saying that if you have a subscription you receive a copy through the post but if you haven't but still want a paper copy, it can be purchased from Lulu. Compared to the usual crap on ebooks covers it is very well done.

Thank you Andy. I think the editor would probably see ST as a book first and an e-book second

Have asked the publisher of my now out of print second collection if they could turn it into a free pdf download until the lockdown (in the UK at least) is over. Enjoy, or not. www.shadowpublishing.net/frightfully-cosy

Many thanks. You, sir, are a gentleman. If you're ever in the Highlands I'll buy you a dram. Or two...

Continuing with the theme of the current pandemic, albeit tangentially, another recommendation for those in solitary confinement at present. The latest edition of "Supernatural Tales", which is impressively Number 43, has just come out and is well worth your time and hard-earned. An excellent way to spent your time without needing to interact with anyone else - David Longhorn maintains the consistently high standard. The rather wonderful cover art, which really does feature a diver swimming down through the depths to a railway steam locomotive, is a crucial part of one of the tales. And, although most folk wouldn't know, it even depicts the correct type of engine for the story... Thanks again for the kind words about the cover, Shrink Proof. I'd be interested to hear what you thought of the story. I've just received my hard copy of ST43 and note that the pic is cropped to fit. In case it's of interest, a link to the original is below (can't seem to get it to show by itself) postimg.cc/pyKPq3nL

Small potatoes compared to everything else that's going on in this crazy world, but when I find whoever hasn't been picking up after their dog when it does its business five to ten feet from my front door (give or take), I'm going to have to really hold back from socking them in the jaw. Pooper scoopers, people! Buy them! Don't get a dog if you live in an apartment complex and can't be assed to pick up after them. I'm tired of doing it for you.

I could see the end coming but it was so well written that that didn't really matter. Put me off diving for life...

I've only had two bad experiences, and that was one of them. Most of the time it is heart-breakingly wonderful, especially if you can see the beauty that surrounds you. It just happens that in British waters you often can't

I still feel oddly unprepared. Me too. Hunkered down in the Scottish Highlands with nothing but a stack of books, a wood-burning stove, a cellar full of haggis & porridge and a selection of the finest malt whiskies. Hard times... Please tell me your exact location so I can murder you in the night and take up occupation

Microsoft makes updates that I never asked for on my computer, so that I no longer can open my important Word documents. I guess that could be called real life horror.
