Not sure if it was picked up on the Vault last year, but noticed on the BAFTAs t'other night that Christopher 'Confessions' Wood was pictured in the 2015 obituary section.

I hadn't heard that he had passed away. That is sad news. As well as the 'Confessions' series, he wrote several James Bond tie-ins. As far as the 'Confessions' books go, imo they are the best of the myriad 70s sex comedy series.

This was news to me - a quick Google reveals it was in May last year, and throws up this rather interesting Telegraph obit - www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/11951112/Christopher-Wood-writer-obituary.htmlThings you didn't know but should have (or had read and forgot) - I didn't know he'd written the script for the movie version of The Destroyer! Not his finest hour and a half, unless it was screwed with (which is probable in movieland). Bit sad as it's another bit of my youth disappearing (Lemmy, Timmy Lea, Dan Hicks, etc) - to be honest, sad because it reminds me of my own mortality. Selfish git.
