This book has been reprinted many times over the years with different cover art. I'm trying to find the specific edition in which the cover art depicts a ghostly man with long white hair.
I've done the usual online searches but I can't seem to find this specific edition. Anybody know which reprint it was?

I think it was used for several editions, if you mean the ghost menacing the copper - my edition is 1974, but it was used for the 1971 edition and 1975 at least, judging from online images - check it out on www.vialibri.net

Thanks for the reply :
I'm afraid not : This is the edition that I have seen all over the various sites.
The one I remember had a single Ghostly figure with long white hair on the cover, almost like a portrait style figure.

Still no luck finding this. The one with the Ghost menacing the policeman does seem to be the more common print. Anymore suggestions as to which edition the one I am recalling may be?

So, I'm still looking for a particular edition of this book. the above editions of the book seem to be the only ones listed anywhere online. Again, the cover I remember has a long white-haired statuesque fiend standing in the centre and the bottom corner (just below the fiend) has a man in a green jacket screaming and attempting to flee in terror. I wonder was it a later edition? I'm re-posting this in the hopes somebody recalls it.

Sorry, still not chanced upon any edition of Supernatural Stories For Boys, but did land a copy of the companion Mystery Stories For Girls so will keep looking. Well done on locating the elusive 'patchwork quilt' edition of the Vivien Aldcock ghost collection!
