An anthology comic with four stories in it, somewhat similar to Dark Horse Monsters, but whereas, in that comic, only one of the different tales was silly in nature, here in Carnosaur Carnage it's the inverse! Two of the stories are quite goofy while the other two are more serious (one even being so good I wish it'd get made into a movie). 1. The Skin of the Hadrosaurs - A Confederate soldier on the run from a group of Union troops during the Civil War meets and befriends a paleontologist. The two discover a lost valley filled where dinosaurs where they fight for survival - against both the dinosaurs and the determined Union officer leading the search party. This is easily the best written and best drawn story in the comic, even if it doesn't have the happiest of endings. 2. Battle at the Edge of Time! - The crew of an American bomber are being pursued by some Japanese fighter planes during World War II. They get shot down and crashland off the coast of an island which, of course, turns out to be teeming with dinosaurs and all manner of mutated monsters and even some aliens for good measure. Not as well done as the previous story, but it serves well enough as simple action-adventure fodder. 3. Big in Japan - An actor who has played Gomra, a popular Godzilla-like monster in Japanese monster movies for years is told by the head of the studio he's going to be fired because they're going to replace the suitimation with new special effects techniques being hawked by a brash American effects artist. Our friend the actor responds to this by turning into Gomra, hellbent on destroying the entire studio. Or does he...? This one is just nuts. It's my second favorite. 4. Dinosaurs Rool! - Set in prehistoric times, this one is easily the most worthless of the bunch. It's just about a bunch of dinosaurs going about their daily lives being bothered by cavepeople, who they consider annoying pests like rats or fleas. The artwork isn't that great, either.

Thanks koosh, too bad the Tyrannosaurus on the cover isn't technically a 'carnosaur' (at least not as of now).
