Have just received the full Wordsworth line-up for the coming year from our dear friend Derek at Wordsworth Editions. It gives me great sadness to report that there has been a bereavement in the ranks which has, understandably, led to a scaled down schedule for 2011, with only three additions to the popular 'Mystery & The Supernatural' series. However, Derek plans to add several new titles the following year, including one that can only be described as dynamic! As a rule, I make it my business never to talk "on behalf of the board" or any of that bloody nonsense, but in this instance, with so many admirers of the series among our regulars, i could see no harm in passing on our sincere condolences to Helen over her loss.

Sad news indeed, Dev. And you did quite right. We can't all individually do it.

Good to see they'll be back to a full schedule in 2012. And you've got me curious - what could be described as 'dynamic'?

put it this way, the title in question has been suggested/ requested on here: and not very long ago, at that. tease tease tease. * truth is, i forgot to ask if i could mention it * i can't remember if i've read The Italian or not, which i realise isn't much of a recommendation. does the heroine get taken prisoner by sadistic nuns in that one or am i confusing it with another lit goth novel entirely?

Ah, okay - I remember a few crackers were mentioned as possible reprint targets.
