Hi my name is Aura and I write fantasy, ghost and horror stories. I am into Stephen King and James Herbert. Just came to say a friendly hello?
Anyone seen the movie 'The Green Mile?' it's very 'electrifying'.

friendly hi to you as well, aura. so which are your pick of the King and Herbert novels? i've been pleasantly surprised that Pet Sematary is a big hit with our posters, maybe more-so than any other SK title. As to James Herbert, there seems to be two different audiences - one that loves all his very early work, others that prefer him as he becomes more 'literate'.
good luck with the writing! has it turned up anyplace yet?

I saw the film and was reading the book the other day. Unusually for King I found I couldn't put the book down. It's a tremendous effort by the man. Genuinely touching

Yes, Green Mile is a good one. But my own favourite is Salem's Lot, which at the time was a welcome change to the frilly-shirted vampire avalanche begun by Anne Rice. Still holds up well, I find. Anyway, welcome Aura, hope you enjoy it here as much as I have.
