Not entirely sure what possessed me to pick up this true account of the God-fearing Ann Haywood's clergy-terrifying struggle with "the Lady".
It could have been that cover, or it may have had something to do with flicking the book open at page 152 and reading the following passage;
"Nearly an hour passed while the Reverend John Marshall wrestled with the Devil. Jolene, fortified by his good example, finally left the dining-room table and joined him on the couch. The two then sandwiched Ann between them and pressed onward to final victory."
Yeah, I reckon that's what clinched it.

Author Nancy Osborn should know what she's talking about because she completed a course in parapsychology and mediumship at the Arthur Ford Academy in Coral Gables, Florida, has studied the paranormal for more than 8 years "in the laboratory and in the field" and gives regular lectures on topics of the supernatural. She's also co-author of the books Haunted Houses and More Haunted Houses and welcomes letters and comments.
