The Demon SyndromeNancy Osborn with Ann Haywood, Bantam, 1983. Non-fiction. "YOU...ARE...DOOMED...FOR...HELL!" After years of hard work, the Haywood family moved into the home of their dreams - a dream soon to be horribly transformed into nightmare. For one evening, while the rest of the household slept, Ann Heywood's body was invaded by "the Lady" - an unrelenting demon spirit that plunged this God-fearing woman, her loving husband and their six adoring children into a dark shadow of evil from which they may never escape. Suddenly, Ann was locked into a vicious battle for her own body. As Ann valiantly struggled for her health and her sanity, "the Lady" rose continuously to dominate her without warning... taunting Ann to commit terrible deeds... searing Ann's cross into her flesh... brutally beating and burning Ann if she disobeyed orders... terrifying Ann's family, friends, clergy and even an unborn child. This is the horrifying account of Ann Haywood's shocking ordeal - more shocking because it's true and continues to this very day. It is a story that will haunt you as you lie awake in the dead of night. A story you won't forget... no matter how hard you try. And now, Ann Haywood says, "the Lady" has revealed a terrible prophecy that threatens the entire world. Not entirely sure what possessed me to pick up this true account of the God-fearing Ann Haywood's clergy-terrifying struggle with "the Lady". It could have been that cover, or it may have had something to do with flicking the book open at page 152 and reading the following passage; "Nearly an hour passed while the Reverend John Marshall wrestled with the Devil. Jolene, fortified by his good example, finally left the dining-room table and joined him on the couch. The two then sandwiched Ann between them and pressed onward to final victory." Yeah, I reckon that's what clinched it. Author Nancy Osborn should know what she's talking about because she completed a course in parapsychology and mediumship at the Arthur Ford Academy in Coral Gables, Florida, has studied the paranormal for more than 8 years "in the laboratory and in the field" and gives regular lectures on topics of the supernatural. She's also co-author of the books Haunted Houses and More Haunted Houses and welcomes letters and comments. Hmmm...

Have shifted your post onto this thread where Demon Syndrome has already been spidered by search engines and there is perhaps a better chance of Nancy Osborne seeing it. Good luck!
