The prolific short story writer Edward D. Hoch died recently. Therw was a thread about one of his books on the old board.

Sorry to hear of his passing.
Always saw his name in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery magazines and Hitchcock anthologies. Think he also wrote for Ellery Queen magazine. A good reliable short story writer and one of those "names" that you just kept seeing.
