The bride has been up to her papier mache mischief again, and now we have a new resident at home, sweet hell. Isn't he lovely? This is him (dis)gracing the new banner on the Vault 'site': A star is born!

Wow! Your lovely lady has tremendous talent, Dem, if she's created that little beauty. Can't you persuade her to come and join us in the Vault? She seems like a kindred spirit. ;D

I'm upgrading my Amercianism 'neat' to an English 'quite superb.'
I'd frankly be shitting myself if I had to go down for a cheese sandwich at 2-am knowing it was lurking by the stairs.

Well, he comes up to my hip and I ain't exactly Johnny-No-Legs. His two brothers are equally imposing and perch atop a bookcase, ever ready to pounce on the innocent. Sinister bastards, they are. Oh, and there's a charming Green Man looming over the door. It's a right Chamber of Horrors, I can tell you. I sleep with one eye open. Can't you persuade her to come and join us in the Vault? She seems like a kindred spirit. ;D The bride is most definitely a kindred spirit, Caz, and very much a part of Vault, it's just that, like a few of our other loyal supporters, she's not a message board person. Doesn't stop them keeping up with the plot, though. I'll pass on your kind words, all!

There is a tendency to forget, as we chat convivially within the comfy walls of the vault. that other people have lives

Good god!!! Dem, if you haven't already you should read 'Bleeding Stones' by Harlan Ellison...
Very nice. Does it have a name?

Firstly, I found this in the library today: "Nightmares In The Sky" It says it's a penguin book published in 1988 by Viking Penguin Inc. The text accompanying the photographs of gargoyles and such is copyrighted to Stephen King. The isbn no is 0-670-82307-4 if you would like to order it for lending out at your library. Secondly, I think we should hold a competition to name the third gargoyle, after all we can't just call him Third, although I think they do that with Dr Who's? Who will be the judge? Mrs Demonik, Mr Demonik, (me...said very quietly...) ? I'm off to think of an excessively groovy name for this chap, hmmmm

If there's three of 'em, how about Wilson, Keppel and Betty? Pip, Squeak and Wilfred?
