Woohoo! Well after drifting in and out like a little lurky bastard over the past few months, I finally decided to register. So here's a few responses to comments so far, just for you Firstly, thanks ever so much for all the kind words. It's always nice to hear that people are actually reading Pantechnicon. I'm terribly sorry about that, Sean. I really did want you to continue them, but as you're already aware, Andy had to leave to pursue his own things for a while, and I discovered in all our server relocations that we don't actually have your email address. I scoured our forums, but you'd deleted your login, so I couldn't contact you that way either. If you still want to do them, I'd certainly still love to have them! Seriously. You will. It's bloody brilliant. PLEASE! I can't stress this enough! Although the tagline is (at the moment) "Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror", as mentioned this does actually rotate frequently so that no one of those genres is given long-term prominence. I want to see horror. Even better, I want to put it in print! That's because I'm a bastard. Seriously though that was a restriction brought about by the width of the banner, and I (being a child of the Eighties) was used to Sci-Fi. Since there seems to be more repulsion toward Sci-Fi than there is to SF, I'll change it for Issue Six. What I really wanted to avoid was "Speculative Fiction". Blergh. Top man! That's what I actually aim for with Pantechnicon. If I do get a clearly genred story it doesn't grab me in the way that a "dark fantasy" *koffhorrorkoff* or a "gothic sci-fi" *koffhorrorkoff* one does. Maybe I just like protagonists to suffer... I know. I'm nasty that way More questions / comments? I'm always happy to answer 'em.
