I'm planning to remain what passes around here for 'sober' until Christmas Eve but that might prove a little tricky so I'll get my rotten "HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all our members, readers, friends and helpless victims" out of the way now.
Hope all your dreams come true ...
... and thank you for existing.

i think the monkey needs seasonal spanking...
i'll get me coat...
meanwhile, merry fucking christmas (as i saw on some distinctly unseasonal wrapping paper last week) to one and all, and all good things for the new year.
i know you exist sean, it's just me i'm not sure about...

happy Christmas folks. Hope Santa is good to you. I wouldn't mind a holiday home in Spain if anyone is thinking of a stocking filler.

Just re-read WHERE THEIR FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED by May Sinclair after many years. It is extremely powerful, a truly poignant Hell where she can't escape, even through Death, her one life's regret... The return to the Paris hotel reminded me of the circumstances of Princess Diana's death, the revolving door... and of what the story itself says: that the future affects the past. Happy Christmas. des

Merry Christmas, folks.
Was it just me, or was Dr. Who dreadful? I'm going to wash the taste of disappointment away by watching FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE in about an hour (one of the Xmas gifts Mrs S gave me).

Merry Christmas, folks. Was it just me, or was Dr. Who dreadful? I'm going to wash the taste of disappointment away by watching FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE in about an hour (one of the Xmas gifts Mrs S gave me). Mark S. Maybe it was just you. I enjoyed Dr Who. It was on just as we were tucking into roast goose. My housemate did ask why all space ships contain a chasm with an enormous drop. But we all know (surely) that this is an essential of space ship design. Suggesting that a space ship could work without this necessary feature is almost as ridiculous as suggesting that women could survive on the moon without purple wigs!
