Derek @ Wordsworth was wondering about the possibility of getting some of our Mystery & Supernatural titles back out there in the form of eBook as there have been a few that we've had to stop printing due to poor sales. I wondered if there would be demand for these? Possibly, but you would be competing with outfits like Delphi Classics who offer the complete works, not just single titles, of out-of-copyright authors for next to nothing. I mean this to be encouraging.

I wondered if there would be demand for these? Equally, if there were some books/collections out there (out of copyright) which we could lay our hands on, we could publish some titles available in eBook form only? Most Wordsworth books I have are in the paperback format, but the couple of Wordsworth ebooks I do have are both very well-formatted, so kudos to you guys! I hope these ebooks sell well. Would have got more of them were it not that I already have them in paperbacks. What with Wordsworth ebooks, Gutenberg free ebooks (which provide Kindle-ready versions these days) as well as Black Heath (perhaps also Delphi Classics mentioned by Jojo above, though I'm not too familiar with them), one can have a very decent supernatural library with very little money. Am a bit surprised that you don't have the Crowley volume as an ebook. Not that Mr. Crowley is readable, but it's one of those books people would buy for "curiosity" reason, I think. Personally I would like to see the two Mark Valentine-edited anthologies ( The Black Veil and The Werewolf Pack) ebooked. Containing contemporary stories, they broke the Wordsworth mould and are special to us readers. Of course would love to see new Wordsworth anthologies containing contemporary stories (ebook or otherwise), but that's probably not what you want to do at this stage.

Would you consider trying out a few long-out-of-print — and, presumably, copyright — collections as ebooks, see how they go, and, should there be a demand, publish a paperback edition?

We're about to start a project on our existing eBooks, having them checked and re-formatted where necessary (the quality of the formatting varies somewhat) so were considering additional M&S titles as part of this larger project. Good to hear that there would be some interest in having existing, or former, titles as eBooks. I suspect Varney the Vampire may be an easier read (font wise at least!) in an eBook format. Emma

Emma No doubt about that. I got it included in a Delphi edition of Bram Stoker which for my older eyes is a relief. I may even read it someday now :-)

In which case, I've taken the liberty of pm-ing you a few titles for consideration ...
