These are a joy - I particularly like the Edna May Fischer bookplate by 'LCD' on Pretty Sinister Books. Have been lucky quite often. A favourite personal find was what amounts to a bonus mini scrapbook stuffed between the pages of Leon Russell's The Saturday Book 11, Oct. 1951. Other welcome surprises include a letter from the author tucked inside copy of Nicholas Witchell's The Loch Ness Monster and a postcard addressed to Edwin 'Savage Pencil' Pouncey in an issue of Winter Chills bought from the Fantasy Centre. Found inside copy of Edward S. Knights, Essex Folk, Heath Cranton Ltd, 1935 So you got the book attributed to the Creeps guy? Good fun? The Knight book is his fond look at rural life, customs and sayings of his home county. Chaper 11 devotes twelve pages to Witchcraft, Ghosts and Marvels, predominantly the former. I was hoping to find a source legend for Dr. Browning's Bus but nothing doing. Here's some ghost content.

This pasted inside a copy of E. F. Benson's Spook Stories (Hutchinson, 1926).
