Thank fuck for that - felt like I was about to have an epileptic fit every time I came on to have a gander The use of the f-word is not encouraged on proboard sites, as even though they usually overlook it, too much use can result in the site being reprimanded. It might be valid to make a point occasionally, but it is often unnecessary and I'm sure many members don't like to see it. It's not "encouraged", but they actually don't mind as long as it's not abusive - support.proboards.com/thread/610183/swearing-foul-languagesupport.proboards.com/thread/653191/swearing-allowed-on-forumMaybe we could add a button.

Looking at the recent posts shows another reason why people use likes, which hadn't occurred to me. It's to stop threads being filled with posts simply saying they agree with the poster; is a row of smilies in a new post better than a simple like above a post?

I think if found a compromise. Instead of like we have an 'aaaaay' button. That way we all get to be The Fonz. Surely no one can argue with that?
