Princess, I really love this musical setting of that poem by Tagore: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFM8trayO2wComposer was a Yank, John Alden Carpenter, active in the 1920s and 1930s and much influenced by English and French Impressionist composers. There aren't any really good recordings of this song that I know of, but the young woman in this one is putting a lot of heart into it. H.

Too tired to look at moment I'm afraid. I'm sure it's very nice.

I've been updating.
There are two Congo's, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is by far the larger, so I'm not sure where to put Maurice Kasongo. I can't see any information on him, there is a Maurice Kasongo who is the son of a famous musician (Mzee Jean Claude Kasongo aka Kasongo Wa Kanema and porpulary known as Baba Maurice to his friends), but he seems to be Kenyan.
Leo Perutz, though born in Prague, I placed in Austrian writers, as he was born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and seems to have identified as Austrian.
Eddy C Bertin identified as a Belgium writer, as his father was Belgium, and he moved there soon after his birth.
Julio CortƔzar is interesting, his parents were Argentinian, his father was a diplomat, he was born in Belgium, but spent his youthful years in Argentina, before moving to Europe. Maybe children who are born to families that move around, often are unable to settle themselves in later life.
The dreaded Wiki says: "Michelangelo Antonioni's film Blowup (1966) was inspired by CortĆ”zar's story "Las babas del diablo", which in turn was based on a photograph taken by Chilean photographer Sergio LarraĆn during a shoot outside of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.[26] CortĆ”zar's story "La autopista del sur" ("The Southern Thruway") influenced another film of the 1960s, Jean-Luc Godard's Week End (1967).[27] The filmmaker Manuel AntĆn has directed three films based on CortĆ”zar stories, Cartas de mamĆ”, Circe and Intimidad de los parques.[28]"
Isn't it interesting to discover peoples lives. As long as it's not the Big Brother variety.
