Been lurking for a number of years, even created an account back in 2019. I've gained a lot of valuable knowledge here, so I figured I'd try and contribute some. Big fan of everything pulp, horror, action, etc., and especially the forum format for clear, documented conversation, sadly overtaken nowadays by Facebook/Reddit. Feel like I already know most here just from my perusing over the years, so greetings š.

Hi! And to everyone on here AU REVOIR! Wait a minute, I thought you weren't going? Or is that your delightful way of saying "Good night"? I'm confused; I suppose some poetry by Swan will calm my mind....

Fear not Fabled Lily of the er, Swamp, for already I'm Drinking from the Mead of Inspiration! Strange Lady of the Mire, with Haunted Swampy Stare... A lily is very nice; if you like in future you can also compare me to a lotus, famed in Buddhism for "representing purity of the body, speech and mind, as if floating above the murky waters (Ed. ie a swamp) of material attachment and physical desire" But any flower is fine, really.

Do you know how the gods got the Mead of Inspiration? You will love it, it's nice and violent. It's brewed from the blood of a slaughtered god, mixed with honey. The god was Kvasir, who was himself made from the spit of the other gods and was very wise. He was murdered by two dwarves who wanted his wisdom for themselves.

Now I'm using it to write top quality poetry for you. As you can tell from that brief line. I've more too of that standard. It's your lucky day.
