Hmm... Spider Girl's legs are hairier than her tarantula's John - I don't know about that font's name, but a good site to pick up free fonts is www.dafont.com

I wonder whether the Man from Sphere is friends with the Man from Del Monte. Or The Man From Avon? The Man From Avon, Michael Avallone, Avon, 1967

Not sure if this belongs here or in the 'badly posed' thread. Either way Photobucket will surely have it away quicker than a flash, so get it while it's hot! The Man-eater, Troy Conway (Michael Avallone?), Paperback Library, 1968 If you look up 'sexual chemistry' in the dictionary, you'll find this cover scan...

I'm sure the Brit covers of The Coxeman were a bit better than that! The Man From Avon looks great though - He's Larry McKnight and even UFOs can't stop him!

is the man from sphere an anglicized rewrite of the man from avon? apparently, the latter was originally written as a promo device for a sales conference, and was later retitled A Rep For Murder (credited to Sylvester Avantier) for Avon's 50th anniversary celebrations in 1991, and given away in a similar manner.
great idea, and i'd love to read it...
on the same subject (sort of), here's a question for those old perves - i mean learned scholars - franklin and s/steve/makeupyourownvariant. about sixteen years ago i picked up a book that was published by simon&schuster uk, and was part of their attempt to crash the uk erotica market. it was one of a series (it was up to four at the time), and was set in the sixties. basically, it was swinging london admen get up to explicit shennanigans. i can't remember the author or title, hence my need to ask, but the thing is that as erotica it was crap; however, it was great as a slightly more naughty variant on the kind of thing we're talking about here, and whowever was responsible had a real love for this kind of rubbish. i'd love to track it - and the rest of 'em - down again.

Learned scholar? I deny that completely! That's a new one on me Pulp. Sounds great though. I thought the cheeky, cheery, smirking, winking (yes, winking) stuff died out in the mid 80s and was replaced by yer Black Lace (not the pop group) 'erotica' and then actual pornography (ironic that it was available in WH Smug). If the man of a thousand pseudonyms (all of them exactly the same) knows anything, I'll be taking notes.

Yes! It took quite a while for Sev to remove this appalling stain from his collection and pass it on to me, like some ghastly sexually transmitted infection - but I'm glad he did!

blimey, that's a coincidence! i just got 'Segeant Death', another of Mayo's Charles Hood adventures, out of the bookcase today. it has a similar type, and a young lady resplendent in a white bikini. i really must get a scanner.
god, i love the late sixties/early seventies...

I wonder whether the Man from Sphere is friends with the Man from Del Monte. Or The Man From Avon? The Man From Avon, Michael Avallone, Avon, 1967 I heard someone say on the radio the other day that Avon is very popular with trannies. And you've got to admit that the blonde's hair does look very much like an unconvincing trannie wig. ;D

Two classics, FM. The modern stuff tries, bless it, but I doubt we'll ever see the likes of Art Of Course Acting again and more's the pity. On the plus side, they sometimes feature models who are ringers for that one out of E*st*nd*rs ... Annmarie McKenna - Blackmailed (Samhain, 2006) Blurb: Brianna Wyatt may be a victim of her father's machinations, but one look is all it takes for Cole Masters and Tyler Cannon to offer her their own style of menage a trois blackmail. Brianna Wyatt's father is blackmailing her into doing what he wants by threatening to send her brother to an institution. She would do anything to keep that from happening, including go along with his demented scheme of her getting pregnant by Cole Masters -- a man who's been rumored to share a woman with his best friend, and who leaves Brianna's innocent senses in shambles. Cole is sure he's about to be blackmailed-why else would a man whore his daughter? But there's something about her that neither Cole nor his best friend, Tyler Cannon, can deny. They want her, and don't hesitate for a second on making their own offer. Her brother's protection for her body. When danger flirts with Brianna's life, there is nothing they won't do to keep her safe. Including listening to what their hearts are saying. Warning: this title contains graphic language, hot, explicit sex, bondage, domination/submission and menage a trois and is not for the faint of heart!
