Eddie Jones Vision of Tommorow vol. 1, No. 4, January 1970 Phillip Harbottle's stylish but ill-fated Vision of Tomorrow magazine is one of the subjects covered in the next Paperback Fanatic, with a welcome - and fascinating - interview with Phil himself. Most of the covers were the work of Eddie Jones. Phil discovered David Hardy and commissioned his first cover art. Terry Jeeves The above scraperboard cartoon is typical of Terry Jeeves' retro-style artwork. Terry's story Upon Reflection appeared in The 25th Pan Book of Horror Stories. His cartoon series The Soggies appeared in Movie Maker Magazine and his fanzine Erg (to which I was several times a contributor ) came out regularly 4 times a year and became something of an institution. I'm not sure offhand how many issues it ran for, but well over a 100. Terry was also an oil painter and sold his work at SF conventions. Terry Jeeves Other contributors to Vision of Tomorrow whose names are familiar to Vault members include Ken Bulmer, E C Tubb, Sydney J Bounds, Peter Cave, Eddy C Bertin, Michael Moorcock.
