Apologies if this is old news, but I thought the bargain price compilation of stories by Frederick Cowles which has recently appeared on Amazon might be of interest to Vault members. The Kindle book by Black Heath Gothic collects stories from The Horror of Abbot’s Grange (1936) and The Night Wind Howls (1938) for a mere 99 pence. I'm about a quarter of the way in and enjoying it immensely. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0892MQQ4P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_bUCPFbXH9YF4T

I love both of Cowles' books and am glad to hear his stories are now more widely available.

His last collection, Fear walks the Night, wasn't published until the 90s. The stories in it are a bit longer than in the first two. I've bought a few of the Black heath collections, all of which I thought very good.
