Justin Marriott [ed.] - Hot Lead #3: The Adult Western Special (Paperback Fanatic, May 2019)

I have got this one (actually all the three issues). I know absolutely nothing about Westerns, but couldn't resist the scanned covers (I tried, I swear!). Two excellent articles (in issue 2 and 3) about the genre in Germany seems to be penned by an esteemed Vault member! (I suppose Andreas Decker is our Andy.)
I so understand. Have enjoyed the occasional (very tame) Spicy Western Story, but doubt I've met any of the paperbacks featured over the three issues. Not sure I'd particularly want to, either, but, of course, reading about them and ogling the accomplished/ classy/ outrageous/ lurid/ romantic (!)/ occasionally a bit rough artwork is another matter entirely.
Excuse for 'Review'/ commentary/ unintelligible raving etc., to follow over coming days.
From the first, I set myself against "literature"; the story was the thing, and no amount of style could persuade me to select a story that lacked genuine, unadulterated horror. For those who wanted something high-brow there was plenty.
