Possibly the wrong forum, but here it goes.
I recall in the 70s my local library had a series of horror collections aimed at children. I suspect the original editions were earlier 50s or 60s.
One of the collections definitely had 'Three miles up' by Elizabeth Jane Howard.
Any idea what this series was?

Not sure it was specifically aimed at children but perhaps the first volume of the The Fontana Book Of Great Ghost Stories? Alternatively, if it's a hardcover, probably Helen Hoke's Ghostly, Grim & Gruesome (Dent, 1976)
