Thanks for all your kind comments on 'Belated Moments'. Small point. I was wondering about this sentence: "My surprise was generated by the fact that such an article was stacked with the secondhand books, bulging as it was with well-hung stamps." Did you mean "...such a shop" instead of "such an article". I thought you were writing about the stamp album, but that couldn't be "stacked with the secondhand books", could it? I meant there was surprise that the article (the album with stamps in it) was stacked (along) with the books (ie stacked among the books). Perhaps I should have included the word 'along'.

There's no point in me promising to have a break till someone else posts some of their own choice covers, because I'll probably not be able to keep the promise... but if anyone has some comments or if any mag editor or contributor has (re)discovered their work here, please give us your reaction.

Are you enjoying these mag covers? Do they represent the real underbelly of pulp? Or are you getting fed up with them? Am I unhinged in attempting this!? It's a great thread Des, some interesting artwork that can be appreciated for its own sake. And judging by the amount of views it gets, it is certainly of interest to many.

I'll get some covers up as soon as I can. I need to install my scanner into my new computer first.
The covers I have are a bit older I think than most of yours, going back to the 60s and early 70s. I'd stopped buying magazines like this by the 80s and I'm amazed, from the ones you have posted already, just how many there were.
