Trying again..... One of these gets a mention earlier in the thread. Stella Hender provides the cover for the other.

Thanks, Phantomrider. I don't think either of those covers has been shown on this thread before. Also be nice to have a few brief notes about each one. Great to see the Ark still growing! des

You can blame Des for this, as I was led over from Shocklines. I managed to dig out a load that I was in -without- Des being there. (Not so easy as it sounds So, in no particular order, and apologies for the dodgy photies, I give you.... Xenos. I was in no less than 6 of these. The covers only varied with the colour of the title. It was interesting in that every issue contained reader evaluations of the previous issues stories. It ran for quite a while, and was more staid and traditional than many of the other mags around. Feb 1995, Issue 29 The Velvet Vampyre. Nice looking and glossy journal of the Vampire Society, this one from 1995, Issue 25

Threads, October 1993, Issue 1 I was very happy at the time to get into this one. Threads, Oct 1994, Issue 5. Neil Asher was in this one too, and his name will be popping up quite a lot. Note the price inflation

This one just creeps in under the 2000 limit. And OK, Des is in it, but it hasn't been posted yet. Roadworks, Millennium Special. Des, Nick Royle, Rhys Hughes, Tim Lebbon, Gary Couzens, and me. One from across the pond. Pirate Writings, 1994, Issue 4. The first issue to go glossy, and one of my earliest sales to the US.

Thanks, Willie. Great stuff. Many Proustian cakes there for me! The only cover I think you've repeated is the 'masque' - but it's worth repeating! Keep going!
