I already own copies of this title(s) (both original 1979 & 1990 omnibus + the three volumes, and the Finnish omnibus reprint), and would like to see this classic republished (again). Gotta have another edition on my shelf.
If the petition is successful, what format will it be? Omnibus ... or seperate volumes - like the recent reprints of The World of the Unknown series?
Hope USBORNE don't mess about with the cover art too much. I'm not a fan of the new photo bubbles foreword, obscuring the brilliant original 1970's cover art for The World of the Unknown books.

I bought the reissue of the 'Ghosts' book, and more recently, the 'UFO's book, as I had them on first release, and they're still as good as I remember. A recent trip to a car boot sale, and I found the three books 'Vampires'/'Haunted Houses'/'Strange Powers' on a stall, and the seller wanted 50p ("Silly kid's books", she said) for all three. I insisted that she took £3. They are in superb condition, and made me very happy to see them again.

Oh, and the 'Ghosts' book has input from the writer on the supernatural, Eric Maple.

Just received my new 2021 reprint of the MONSTERS volume from the World of the Unknown series. My favourite of the three.
Disappointed to see one original photo has been replaced (the scientifically inaccurate Crystal Palace Park Iguanodon, on page 11) with another slightly different image - and poorly colourised to boot! Checked my ‘70s reprint for confirmation, and it is, indeed, a different pic - sloppy.
The biggest misstep of the new reprints is, the beautiful cover artwork has now an intrusive - and very ugly - double bubble, with foreword announcement and b/w image, ruining the vintage art. I realise this was done for reasons of marketing, but still...
I pray when the Supernatural Guides are reissued, in either three volumes or omnibus form, that their art isn’t similarly blighted.
Otherwise, happy to have finally completed the set of three 21st century reissues.
