I love this one:
Customer: Do you stock Nigella Lawson under 'Sex' or 'Cookery'? Bookseller: It's a tough call, isn't it?

Couple more from Lifeline - adding them all up, it wasn't a bad event after all: Don't know why I got this for $5: These for $2 each: Book of essays: This for $3: And this for $2 - it's hard to take Richard O'Sullivan seriously after Man about the house and Robin's Nest: Some interesting comics, stories and articles in it:

Love these, especially Ghosts 2 and that juicy looking Witchcraft item (yes, I realize I'm quite predictable).
I guess Return of the Jedi might be valuable as a shop item you can price high if it's scarce. It's odd, I very much enjoyed the original 3 Star Wars films. For some reason, when the sequels started rolling out in the 1990s, even though I avoided going to see the films, I quickly became quite disenchanted with Star Bores.
Anyhow the cover is quite attractive! Excellent finds!

I never liked the third movie. The script was a disappointment and not very original, I loathed the Ewoks and hated the saccharine end. The phoned in performances, the smug self-awareness of the stars. They were not acting, they were role-playing.
Compared to the later "prequels" it was of course a masterwork. I can watch those only on mute. The dialogue is a horror, the plot is inane (even for a bargain basement space opera).

I loved Return of the Jedi, myself. Especially the Ewoks.

I loved Return of the Jedi, myself. Especially the Ewoks. Then you must have been born beyond the Ewok Line

Interesting edition. What is is? The Marvel movie adaption by Goodwin and Williamson as a paperback? Yes, that's the one, in a UK paperback published by Piccolo, the kids imprint of Pan. Not scarce at all but nicely done.

I always skipped those movie adaptions. Not my thing.

That's the edition of Edge of Running Water I have - well worth $2! I have the 1980 Del Rey edition, but it's a solid novel either way.
