What a cool find, James! Is there a thread about This Creeping Thingie-puss? I must be slightly punchy because I got to "'Christ!' I shouted blasphemously" and just started giggling. Sounds like good stuff!
cheers, Steve

Nabbed another copy of Dennis Wheatley's Uncharted Seas. It is in my reading queue. I am on a Wheatley spree. I just read THEY FOUND ATLANTIS and am now reading THE KA OF GIFFORD HILLARY. Both quite odd in their own individual ways. It turns out THE MAN WHO MISSED THE WAR is even odder. Completely unpredictable and, frankly, mad. Required reading.

I love those robots. Surely the best of the book.

We'll just have to see if the interior story measures up to the cover art.

I seem to recall reading that Lovecraft was paid a total of $25 for the original stories. The complete series, not $25 apiece.
Who is the author of the novelization again? I hope it helps relieve the stress of this difficult time.
cheers, Helrunar

Jeff Rovin wrote the novelization. He also novelized the Stallone movie Cliffhanger.

Jeff Rovin wrote the novelization. He also novelized the Stallone movie Cliffhanger. Never would have thought that Rovin merited 12 pages on Am*z*n. From Joan Collins - the unauthorized biography to Tom Clancy's Op-Center. Or a trilogy he, ahem, co-wrote with Gillian Anderson, some paranormal epic of the kind I wouldn't touch with a stick. I am impressed. One seller in the UK is advertising Re-Animator on market-place. For a delusional 1570,00 Euro. I wonder if Rovin got that much for the manuscript in 1987.
