The Sorcerors, starring Boris Karloff, is a great little British horror film. It's great to finally own it on Blu Ray to watch whenever I like (and this movie certainly DOES have a high watchability factor). Love Ian Ogilvy in it too, plus the pretty blonde girl.

Marvellous film, one of the best genre pictures of the 60's. Love the way it bridges not only classic mad scientist tropes with groovy later period trappings, but also the cynicism the was to come to the fore in years soon to come.

I totally agree - it sure WAS a marvellous film. One of Karloff's best. Would love them to release his last horror movie, Targets, on Blu Ray too.

Targets is great too, and another interesting crossover. Wasn't that one only made because Corman had Karloff contracted for a few unused days and wanted a project for them, but then Karloff took a shine to it and stayed on? Or am I getting mixed up?

The Terror is the film made because Corman had Boris for another 2 days and some standing sets from a Poe film, though it's footage from this that's used as the 'Byron Orlock' film seen in Targets.
