They were always in our bookcase, but never got around to reading them. Are they similar to Bradbury in tone (but without the supernatural elements)? "
I see little or no echo of Mark Twain’s Huck Finn or Tom Sawyer in Ray Bradbury’s writing generally. Perhaps the depiction of the two boys in “Something Wicked this Way Comes” is indebted to Twain? But stylistically I’d suggest Melville’s “Moby Dick” was a far greater influence.
