Here's the other time I saw them. Went to see The Straps. Can't remember fk9 or the Cosmetics. The Wanderers were of course Sham without Pursey, but with the ex-Dead Boy, who wasn't averse to letting off a fire extinguisher over the audience.

The Wanderers - not to be confused with The Warriors, as I have done before (as in the movies) - were pretty good, but Stiv & Tregunna were still a year away from their best work with the god-like Brian James. Anyway, to backtrack slightly, I loved Manufactured Romance. Sigh. That is all.
BTW, this looks a good book, and I might actually break this year's habit and buy something contemporary!

BTW, this looks a good book, and I might actually break this year's habit and buy something contemporary! It's not long ago we two were asking about what happened to Andrew Darlington on a miscellaneous zine's thread. It's a very interesting collection for sure, though, after enjoying everything up to and including Big Bad John, I struggled with much of the remainder. Have just made a start on another recent Parallel Universe paperback, more about which when I get back to reading fiction (been engrossed in various histories of highwaymen, body-snatchers, English Inn Signs, Australian football, and The Suffragette Derby of 1913).
