What a gorgeous book! I've seen very little of Mr Pitts' work but have noticed he is very highly thought of amongst Vault residents. And I'm starting to understand why, viewing that extraordinary cavalcade of images you shared with us there.

Now that contracts have been exchanged I can finally reveal that Parallel Universe Publications will soon be publishing Samantha Lee's extraordinarily amazing fantasy novel Childe Rolande, originally published by Futura Books in the UK in 1989. PUP will not only be reprinting Childe Rolande in paperback but for the first time we will also be publishing a hardcover version and a kindle ebook. Below is a link to a review I wrote of the original novel. Childe Rolande Review For our edition Samantha Lee has written a brand new Introduction. We will soon be revealing its new cover, together with details of its publication dates. Below is the cover for the 1989 Futura edition

This is much anticipated news. I've reviewed Samantha's work here www.heavenmakers.com/?p=1019. I didn't find the two other contemporaneous reviews but however many there were at the time, there weren't enough. It really is a groundbreaking classic. So glad it's finally being republished as there are simply none available.

A cozy holiday scene. Perfect for Vault and those who walk the night. cheers, Hel. If you're looking for the cold, the nocturnal and the atmospheric, you won't go far wrong with Romanticist scenes (Caspar David Friedrich, John Atkinson Grimshaw, etc...).
