I used to love the Confessions movies when I used to watch them as a kid back in the 70s. Here's my article on them:

I think that if they remade the Confessions movies now, they would be a lot more rude and, no doubt, peppered with bad language. I hope they never do, as these factors alone would ensure that the remakes would never be as good as the originals.
