Ah yes, I loved doing that, it was produced in my "shed" in the back garden hence "Out of the Woodwork" and it was a labour of love. The on-line version is still operating on the website (we are up to 169) - it's become a newsletter full of quirky things - reflects my personality I guess - you can take a look here:- www.fantasticliterature.com/newsletter.htm ;D

i just found some of your catalogues dating back to the early 'nineties! were phantom and me right in guessing there were just the two issues of Out Of The Woodwork before it went online? something else i'm sure many of our regulars will be interested in is, i believe Fantastic Literature now stock single issues of the mighty Paperback Fanatic?

Heave to Shipmates, Captain Fantastic here: It’s the weekend of All Hallows with Samhain night on Sunday and we’ve put together an illustrated booklist to celebrate all that’s dark and creepy at this time of year. We’ve got vicious vampires, wicked werewolves and zealous zombies*, scary serial killers and malignant menaces of every shape and form. We’ve also got some remarkable high spots including a signed 1st edition of David Gemmel’s “Bloodstone” a host of new Ex Occidente press titles, new titles from Gray Friar Press and Newcon Press, and the welcome return of Sarob Press. We’ve a plethora of great paperbacks, proof copies and fanzines including a complete run of Michael Moorcock’s “Eternal Champion” from Millennium , Brian Aldiss’ “Sex and the Black Machine” and Joe Hill’s “Horns” in UK proof. (* didn't like zealous but it's the only one I could think of!) www.fantasticliterature.com/

Captain Fantastic here: Just to say we've just taken delivery of these two titles. Sub Rosa by Robert Aickman is a classic collection of strange stories, long out of print and now re-released in a limited edition by Tartarus Press. Graham Masterton wrote Rules of Duel between 1964 and 1970, when he was friends with William S Burroughs, the creator of the literarily acclaimed intersection writing technique. Recently rediscovered, this is a thought-provoking, triumphant and poetic tribute to Burroughs. Rules of Duel is a clever and pervasive novel, which turns literature on its head, and makes the reader work to be part of the evolving plot. www.fantasticliterature.com/new-arrivals.html
