i've only read the opening chapters of The Secret Of Terror Castle, so can't comment, but you seem to have captured the spirit of the thing and i'm sure the excellent Mr. ' Carl Dreadstone' will be suitably flattered. Thought our American 'Three Investigator' fans might appreciate some sample covers of the UK editions. My friend the back of the van man had a stash of these not so long ago, but Terror Castle and Green Ghost were all that were left when last i saw him. 'Alfred Hitchcock' didn't think too highly of Jupiter, did he? Read them all years ago but sadly they disappeared onto the ether. You should be commentating on the footie Dem

Sadly, it appears that the actual stories go for Scooby Doo endings. It's strange how the Scooby Doo ending is so right for a shudder pulp, but seems the most appalling cheat when you come across one in a children's book. Found another from the series on Sunday, and if I read any through, it's likely to be this one on account of it's a Sasquatch special, though admittedly, unlikely to better Mike Jahn's immortal The Six Million Dollar Man: The Secret Of Bigfoot in the great scheme of things. Behind him, almost at his shoulder, there was the sound of breathing. Bob jumped, twisting in mid-air, to face the being that had come out of the woods. He had an impression of hugeness and matted hair. Then he was staggering, slipping on the earth at the edge of the crevice ...

I found a copy of "The Mystery of the Singing Serpent" today. I looked around in the shop but unfortunately I could not find any other titles in the series. I have not read any of these titles before, but they look fun. Here are scans of the edition that I have. It's published by Armada, 1978.
