Yesterday I read Morella then watched the episode based on it from Tales of Terror. The latter was too short and not developed enough, it bore only a fleeting resemblence to the original. Vincent Price is quite wonderful though. I liked the idea Morella was a woman of high intellect who read philosophers of the German Idealism movement, like Fichte and Schelling, at least in the story we get some background to her. I haven't watched the other two episodes in Tales of Terror yet.
