Robert E. Howard et al. - Nameless Cults: The Cthulhu Mythos Fiction of Robert E. Howard (Chaosium 2001) - Edited & Introduced by Robert M. Price
Had this one a few years (along with others in the Chaosium series) & it should be getting a look in soon. Some overlap with Skull Face, but well worth having - features some posthumous collaborations a la Lovecraft, also some nice contents & title page illustrations by Dave Carson.
Introduction: Raven, Son Of Morn - Robert M. Price
The Black Stone Worms Of The Earth The Little People People Of The Dark The Children Of The Night The Thing On The Roof The Abbey (with C.J. Henderson) The Fire Of Asshurbanipal The Door To The World (with Joseph S. Pulver) The Hoofed Thing Dig Me No Grave The House In The Oaks (with August Derleth) The Black Bear Bites The Shadow Kingdom The Gods Of Bal-Sagoth Skull-Face Black Eons (with Robert M. Price) The Challenge From Beyond (with H.P. Lovecraft, C.L.Moore, A. Merritt & Frank Belknap Long
This is a good one. I have most of the Chaosium, even if some of Price´s ticks began to get on my nerve. Still these editions have sometimes some very interesting material,
There are quite a few of Howard´s collection which have mostly the same content. Of course you could debate why Gods of Bal-Sagoth - which must be Howard´s most collected story - and no Worms of the Earth.
I have some of those; somehow I have become a modest Howard collector, before he became public domain and his collections became a flood. Some are nice, some are thrown together.
