Those are quite lovely. I have a couple of Consuls knocking about, but can't get the hang of bloody photobucket.
Nice to see Nancy Spain in there - her crime novels are noteable for being sarcastic in the extreme, as her bitchy heroines barely cover their sapphic subtexts (one is even set in a girl's school called Radclyffe Hall, for god's sakes). Died young in a plane crash, I discovered recently. Bit of TV celeb and did cookery books as well as being a journalist. Turns up in a few films playing herself, as early TV celebs did back then (saw her the other day in Live It Up, an early pop musical with David Hemings and an acting Steven (!) Marriott - whi drummed but didn't sing in this one).
