I'm looking for a copy of The Ghoul to complete my Guy Smith collection. (Well his Sexy Confessions books as well, but let's be realistic about the chances of those ever turning ever up...). Anyone out there hoarding a copy?
In return I have duplicates of The Ressurected, Werewolf by Moonlight, Return of the Werewolf, Son of the Werewolf, Crabs;Human Sacrifice and Bamboo Guerillas to exchange... sometimes the vagueries of book distribution meant a common title in one part of the country was fairly common in another.
Please put me out of my misery!

There was a copy of THE GHOUL on evilbay recently - went for I *think* about 12 quid. I was going to bid as I knew it was a rarity - but forgot or something - no surprise! It's certainly on my wants list as a curio more than anything else.
Crabs : Human Sacrifice is another tough shell to crack - low distribution maybe? It's the only Crabs novel I don't own or haven't read.

I'm sure we covered 'em all at one stage at the old Vault ( damn I'm starting to sound like an old f*rt about the original premises) - but the archives there are jam packed and slowly we are transferring stuff over - like moving house using a shopping basket. Never , ever seen a copy of HUMAN SACRIFICE - let around read it's dubious contents . Just started reading an early Guy Smith - I'll bore for England shortly on the subject... ade

There's a copy of HUMAN SACRIFICE on evilbay with 5 days to go. Already it's at 7 quid. I can never understand early bidding on an item unless your loaded - invariably it drives the price through the roof. Bet the seller is pleased and I bet it hits 20 quid. That's me out..

:'(Couple of years ago I was in a tight spot financially and saw Ghoul was worth a bob or two on ebay so I sold it. Along with one of the wolf book. What a tool I am.

Don't worry Erebus. The experience I remembered was twice selling stacks of sf, horror, fantasy paperbacks including the entire Pan Horror collection because I told myself I was growing up.
Sadly I hadn't worked out that growing up was neither clever nor was I very good at it. I then began cheerfully to accumulate books and at one point bought some books from Mike Don in Manchester. I thought 'these look familiar' when I got home I discovered that most of the books were actually ones I had previously owned. (they had among various other clues, my name in them) I was effectively selling them to Mike and then buying them back later.
Still, the money couldn't have gone to a nicer guy
