Apologies if this is a bit indulgent but my close relative and friend Maureen was admitted to hospital last week with a broken hip. We got her home, only for her to be readmitted with a foot ulcer. Obviously, she's not having the best of times, so if those of you who pray would be kind enough to include her in your thoughts? She bought me my first word processor, first computer too, so if you like Vault, she's one of the people most responsible! And there's also the small matter of her bringing the Bride of Demonik into the world, so all told, I owe her LOTS! Thanks!

Oh, sorry to hear that Dem. It's a bugger when one health problem follows another like that.
I don't pray (as I don't personally believe there's anyone or anything to pray to!), but I do wish her and your family well. xx

I wish her well too - those ulcers can be nasty. Wondered where you'd been old man - nice to see ya back!

I'm a praying type of guy. I'll be glad to put a word in for this good lady.

My best wishes, too, for Maureen. I hope she gets well soon.
It's a worrying time when a close relative is ill. My only uncle, who is 84, has been in hospital for the past seven weeks awaiting a heart operation. Unfortunately because the hospital is quite some distance away I can rarely get to visit him more than once a week.

Thank you so much for this! Just got back from the hospital and the lady is in good spirits - might be allowed out later in the week. Anyway, I passed on your messages and her words were "Aren't they lovely?". Well, just for the moment, I shall agree, but you'll be back to being a bunch of beastly cads, utter bounders and minxes next week!
And David. Sincere best wishes to your uncle.
