Thank you so much for these comments. While I put these new editions together as a tribute to my dad, it has always been my hope that they would find their audience.
As for future plans, there may well be more re-issues, to be sure. But, in selecting the three new stories for Terror by Gaslight, I realised how much I enjoyed the editing process myself. So now I am working on a brand new 'Hugh Lamb' anthology using more stories that dad left behind unused and also some stories I have chosen which reflect the vibe of his work. He had a few anthologies planned which never saw publication, and while a lot of the stories ended up elsewhere, there is plenty of material to keep the work going for a while.
I'll post more news as it comes to fruition. Thanks again for your appreciation.

Richard Lamb I must admit that I would like to know what stories had been selected for the unseen three volumes of THE MAYFLOWER BOOK OF HORROR STORIES.

I do believe I have some, if not all, the story lists for the Mayflower series. I'll see what I can do.

Hi, Richard, I didn't mean what I wrote literally but it would be interesting to see about the books that never where. At this stage in my interest in ghost stories etc, of all anthologies that I have read, and as I have indicated elsewhere in the Vault, your father's have had the biggest impact on me. So this is to say thanks in a very direct way to Hugh Lamb. Thank you for the opportunity, Michael

Were any of the stories from And Midnight Never Come originally intended for the Mayflower Book of Horror Stories trilogy?

I'm going to be helping Richard put the Mayflower Horror books together (or as close to as is feasibly possible) in the near future.
