i feel a bit sorry for C. H. Guenter's Mr Dynamit. He gets a really rotten deal. it must be lousy being the only Cold War action spy who isn't allowed to indulge in mindless violence and bad sex. Oh, Dynamite had enough girls getting naked and willing for him. But thanks to the regulations of the time all was short and harmless in the novels. No lingering on the dirty deeds done in darkness and no descriptions below the navel The violence though, Dynamite was civil servant. Can´t have civil servants runing around killing communist baddies and glamourizing violence, can we? At least he could commander a NATO strike force if he needed one.
