Another of those bought, put on the shelf and forgotten about books. Robert Hale 1994, Hardcover Robert Bloch - Introduction John Coyne - Snow Man Robert E. Vardeman - A Gentle Breeze Blowing Ramsey Campbell - For You to Judge Steve Rasnic Tem - The Child Killer Jonathan Carroll - The Lick of Time R.C. Matheson - The Edge Lawrence Block - How would you like it Chet Williamson - The Moment the Face Falls Ed Gorman - Judgement J. N. Williamson - Reality Function Kathleen Buckley - Sacrifice Charles L. Grant - Name that Tune Lisa W. Cantrell - Taking care of Georgie S.P.Somtow - Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high Robert Bloch - It takes one to know one Billie Sue Mosiman - The Lesson Ray Bradbury - Fee Fie Foe FumThis is a strange one. I guess I bought it as a member of the British Book Club, one of those buy a book 4 times a year or get our selection thing. This was way before Amazon. There were always some nice horror novels avaible and they were rather affordable for hardcovers. I don´t know if these were exclusivly books made for book clubs or not. In the fine print this is also credited to Martin Greenberg a year earlier, so who knows if Bloch just didn´t lend his name. But why they omitted his name on the cover? And is there an american edition? It sure has a weird writer selection. Carrol, Block, Gorman etc are not the names normally connected to this kind of thing. The Bloch bibliography is also kind of strange as there are listed some french editions also. Le Demon Noir and other collections I never heard about. The nice cover is credited to a Barbara Walton.
